Kid Cudi X S2A - "Mr. Rager"

Josh Webb: From his highly anticipated sophomore album released in November of  last year, "Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager", Scott Mescudi aka Kid Cudi doesn't fail to paint the picture to his dark and gloomy single "Mr Rager". If you've a Kid Cudi fan since "Day 'n' Nite", you can clearly see Mescudi's progression as an artist, actor, and designer.

Recently Kid Cudi had the opportunity to collaborate with Surface to Air to design a signature jacket collection including the Champs Jacket and the Fire JacketIn the video you'll notice Cudi and the cast sporting the ridiculously dope Fire Jacket in beige & black. Though I assume the beige colorway is a special "1 of 1" Kid Cudi exclusive, the black version is available through Surface to Air. As a huge fan of outerwear myself I highly recommend snagging your own, these jackets are great versatile pieces for layering and tend to be excellent as staples for fall and winter.

*both pieces are available in Women sizes on SurfacetoAir.com

Above the Trends..

Josh Webb: As Oscar Wilde put it "Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months". Lately I've been reassessing my personal style and by trimming the 'fat' and excessive trends I've learned how important it is to understand your own personal style. Style is much more mature and versatile than just fashion trends. Below you'll notice the latest release from Common Projects the "suede bone chukka". As we approach winter, I've found myself growing increasingly fond of chukka boots and mid-top style footwear.
The dope aspect about these boots are the simplicity and quality that Common Projects never seems to lack. Aside from this sick "peanut butter" colorway the smoothness of the suede can really add a modern and luxurious look to any ensemble.

Mackelmore X Ryan Lewis "Wings"

Josh Webb: I can honestly say I haven't felt this blown away by an artist's message and cinematic delivery since seeing Kanye West's Runaway short film. Macklemore, in case you've never heard the name started out originally as Professor Macklemore hailing from Seattle, Washington.  I think you'll find his style and wordplay very refreshing in addition to Ryan Lewis's amazing production.

Another Colorway for the Air Yeezy 2!

JWebb: My apologies for the huge delays in updates, we've been refining our approach. Although this next post is 72 hours old, being the sneaker enthusiasts that we are, we thought it was dope to see Kanye West rocking the Air Yeezy 2's in "watermelon" grey at the MTV VMAs. Although Reggie was fortunate enough to get a pair of the first Air Yeezy's I missed the boat! Believe me when I say that this is the sneaker to have, I'm getting mines the day they drop!

New Era Presents: Tattoo Age – Dan Santoro Part 1

Described in this video as a “pathological thinker,” tattoo artist Dan Santoro may not be a household name, but those in the industry laud him as a true original and supremely talented. Highlighted here by Vice in a collaboration with New Era, Dan is profiled as a bit of a free-wheeling jack-of-all-trades with a broad range of interests and a vivacious personality. The highlight of this short documentary piece, however, is without a doubt the series of tattoos featured throughout. From small to large, subtle to statement-making, Dan and his colleagues at Smith Street’s tattoos are truly examples of heightened works of the craft.

Who inspires you're idea of "coolness" ?

The Pursuit of Cool: Savioa The Tailor

For the latest generation, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll Elvis Presley is largely lost on them. The seminal influences of the King extended far beyond the musical landscape, imparting a lasting impression on youth through style, grace and of course his pompadour. The Pursuit Of Cool meet with tailor Michele Savoia about the impact his grandfather had on his trade of choice, as well as his involvement in ensuring his dad looked the part at every occasion.

Piaget x Only Watch Altiplano Skeleton

The Only Watch auction is about as luxurious as a charity event can get, hosted every two years concurrently with the Monaco Yacht Show under the patronage of Prince Albert II in order to support research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. A four-year collaborator, venerable Swiss watchmaker Piaget has created a one-of-a-kind Altiplano Skeleton timepiece for the auction. Outfitted with an 18-karat white gold case that has undergone a sophisticated matte black PVD treatment, sapphire crystal, pink gold screws, Manufacture Piaget caliber 838P movement and a unique “sunray guilloché” motif, the 2011 Piaget Only Watch Altiplano Skeleton is certainly a show-stopping accessory. Piaget has done an excellent job in using the Only Watch Auction as an opportunity to both support a good cause and flaunt their skills in horological innovation, boasting an attractive result that is truly unique in the world.
